DescriptionTRAINING OPPORTUNITY in GEORGIA - FEBRUARY 2012 CUTTING EDGE TREATMENT FOR TRAUMA SURVIVORS
In December 2010, Women of Grace show on EWTN featured Margaret Vasquez, LPC, CTT, CITTI, founder and director of Freedom’s Calling Trauma Therapy Institute. The response was enormous!
The very successful treatment method Margaret Vasquez utilizes to treat trauma is based on the ITR (Instinctual Trauma Response) model. This evidence-based method of treatment focuses on treating the roots of problems, rather than merely the symptoms. In this way, clients are able to make great and lasting strides in a brief period of time. This is done by directly and intentionally recoding traumatic memories so that they finally feel like they are in the past and no longer interfere in the present.
Though many requests come in from all over the country for trauma treatment, there are only a small number of clinicians trained in this highly effective treatment method.
In response to this overwhelming need, Freedom’s Calling Trauma Therapy Institute is offering an in depth, Accelerated Traumatology Course for clinicians in February 2012 in Georgia.
This training will be from a human and spiritually integrative approach and will equip clinicians with the tools they need to effectively treat trauma and the myriad of symptoms caused by traumatic events.
