I value the important role faith plays in an individuals journey toward wholeness and attempt to integrate the spiritual concepts and principles of the Catholic faith whenever possible with my Catholic clients. My training expertise includes helping adult individuals and teenagers dealing with depression, anxiety, anger, sexuality concerns, life transitions, relationship issues, and parenting. Also working with couples with marriage, pre-marital and family (particularly with teenagers) issues.

My passion is working with men and their roles as fathers, husbands and other men's issues.

Bio:
Gregory Rodriguez is a licensed therapist (LCPC) and has been working in the Southern Cook and Will County area since 2010. A graduate (2005) of Governors State University. Master's degree in counseling, specializing in marriage and family therapy. Among his clinical areas of experience are working with anxiety, depression, stress management, anger, parenting skills, couples and communication and faith-based counseling. Greg also received specialized training in sexual addiction counseling in 2011 and is currently in process of obtaining his CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist) license.

As a therapist who works with both individuals and families, Greg’s passion is his work with men and men’s issues, their families and marital relationships as well as working with teens. Seeing clients age 12 and above are his area of expertise.

Approaches include, person-centered, cbt, solution focused, and spiritual based (when client-appropriate). Greg provides compassion in an empathic environment that focuses on a client's strengths and resiliency.

Greg is also a board member of the Fishers of Men, a local Catholic men’s organization that operates primarily in the Will County area working with men in ministry work and the spiritual development of men in the Joliet diocese. His passion is fatherhood and men’s issues and is available as a speaker on these issues and other topics.
