Message from Therapist

I am a Catholic Licensed Professional Counselor who treats a wide range of issues and has an expertise in: marital therapy, trauma, anxiety/depression, social anxiety, phobias and personality disorders. I bring a Catholic perspective that encourages clients to seek solutions through the discernment of God's will while challenging them to be accountable for acheiving their goals. I am trained as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist as well as in EMDR with a focus on Trauma. Your treatment plan will be tailored to fit your individual needs.  You will always be engaged in a non-judgemental empethetic setting where you will be encouraged and given the knowledge to heal.

A social anxiety support group free to adults is also offered on Sat Mornings 8am-9am 2 times per month.

More About Esam Pietras, LPC

Opening up this counseling and education center (A Foundation of Faith) has been a dream of mine throughout my professional career and one that I truly cherish now that it has become a reality.  The mission of this center is to bring an opportunity for healing and growth to those that are seeking and open to change. Healing will come in many forms including; overcoming lifelong impediments; healing from trauma; reducing anxiety; overcoming fears; repairing relationships; resolving conflict; or finding peace, acceptance and love for yourself; just to name a few.

A Foundation of Faith builds on the understanding that “faith is the proof of that which cannot be seen” and by taking continued steps of faith we can begin to reach heights that we couldn’t have imagined at the start of the journey.

If you are ready to take steps of faith to find the potential God has waiting for you, I look forward to helping you do that.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity,
but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
2 Timothy 1:7
