Bio:
I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Masters in Social Work- Clinical. I majored in clinical work with children, adolescents and families. I minored in community organization.

I underwent an intensive, two year training program to assess and provide treatment to help children, adolescents and young adults heal from sexual assault and abuse. I conduct forensic interviews and evaluations for child/adolescent sexual abuse. I have testified on over 350 cases during my career.

Professional Experience:
I gained two years experience working in adult addiction at a hospital inpatient setting. Five years in Adolescent In Patient Mental Health and Adolescent Outpatient Therapy Services. I went on to manage the Adolescent Out Patient Mental Health and Substance Abuse Program. During this time, I developed several community based adolescent group services including; parenting adolescents, adolescent addiction, and sexual abuse therapy groups at the middle school and high school level. Additionally, I lead adolescent peer group educational classes focused on teaching coping skills.

I provided health and sexual education to middle school religious education students for seven years. Additionally, I conducted health and sexual education groups for middle and high school public school students.

I trained a number of staff at the agency level in both family therapy approaches and adolescent treatment. Courses taught include, clinical work with families and individuals and adolescent development both at an undergraduate and graduate level.

I have been in private practice over 25 years. Research is a special interest and I completed 7 research projects during my career.
