Message from Therapist

Weeks, months, or possibly years pass while ignoring a nagging sensation in our minds/bodies. The sensation is communicating to us that something is not right. When we listen, we might notice a few things. In our work, we might feel overwhelmed, dissatisfied, or worthless. In our day-to-day life, we might feel irritated, guilty, or uncertain. Maybe we notice overall feelings of hopelessness, worry, and fatigue. We may have chronic stress, depressive feelings, and anxiety. We want to be free of these feelings and have more meaning in our lives, but we don’t know how to start or what to do next. As a psychotherapist & Brainspotting Consultant rooted in brain-body methods, I work with you to find your starting point. Together, we identify meaningful goals and a plan to reach them. Extensive research has shown therapy is most helpful when you are seen and heard by your therapist, and when your spirituality/religious beliefs are integrated, not imposed.

I specialize in integrating modern clinical practice, neuroscience of the brain-body connection, and Catholic Spirituality to help people overcome: chronic stress, trauma, PTSD, cPTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, dissociative experiences, and grief. I also help couples to improve communication, increase emotional connection, and collaborate during difficult times.

Extensive research has shown therapy is most helpful when you feel seen and supported. I will listen and seek feedback to support you throughout counseling. As people, we are meant to connect with others and to be heard by them. You are worthy of being seen and heard, no matter where you are in life. Your story, your struggles, your feelings will be honored. As we work together, I will be there alongside you, as you navigate the path toward the life you desire.
