I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and conduct therapy for Adult Individuals, Children, Teenagers, Couples and Families for a variety of issues.  I also conduct initial psychological evaluations.  I can help you learn ways to cope with life's challenges and to develop a more optimistic outlook on life by incorporating your Catholic Christian faith belief foundations in the therapeutic process.

Bio:
Dr. Shane Gomes has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego, CA.

He has worked as a clinical psychologist in private practice in California for over 19 years on a wide-range of issues with adults, children, adolescents, couples and families. He taught a variety of university level classes as a psychology professor at California State University in Los Angeles and provided educational seminars on numerous topics.

Dr. Gomes relocated from California to North Carolina in June 2018 to pursue his passion for teaching as Chair of Psychology Department and Associate Professor at Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, NC. He provides as a Licensed Psychologist in North Carolina a wide range of psychological assessments, evaluations, and therapies.
