I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) and am clinically supervised under Meg Wilson, LCDC, LPC-S, NCC for the duration of my associate work.
My passion is helping those suffering from eating disorders. I also work with family members and operate from an emotionally focused therapy (EFFT) that works to teach parents advanced caregiving skills.
Additionally, I work with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflict, parenting issues, trauma and PTSD, as well as substance use disorders. My clinical approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
I promote responsibilities and awareness that a counselor must uphold while additionally emphasizing the realm of confidentiality, so each of my clients feels that they have a safe space to share their authentic voice, experience hope and personal growth.
I grew up Catholic and went to several Catholic schools. I honor my background and bring what I have learned to my clients. I also chose to change careers – leaving behind a 23-year-career as an executive in management consulting – to become a therapist who could offer hope to adolescents and adults who seek support and guidance today.
