Message from Therapist

Hello and God Bless!

I work with individual adults and married couples. I especially enjoy accompanying those in their lives who hold their Catholic Christian faith as their primary source of guidance. I view each person as a unique individual comprised of body, mind, and spirit. You can expect from me a caring, supportive, and non-judgmental professional relationship where your faith and values are respected. I encourage both acceptance and change through a practice of courage and patience with self and others.

Practice Info

Bio:
I have over 25 years of experience as a mental health and addictions therapist.
I work with a wide spectrum of issues, including depression, anxiety, stress-management, addictions, anger management, and also marriage and relationship issues. I have extensive experience in working with substance abuse and dependency issues, including codependency and 12-step programs and principles.

I use principles of cognitive behavioral therapies, family systems, and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) in therapy, particularly as they intersect with Christian living. I especially enjoy working to enhance marriage, spirituality, and personal growth. I am a member of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association.

I have been married for about 30 years, and have 7 wonderful living children, and 3 in heaven! When I am not working, I am probably spending time with my family as well as our local Catholic community.
