Hello and Welcome!

I am a bilingual (English / Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. With over 25 years of experience in the mental health field, I provide counseling and psychotherapy to adults who are experiencing Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Autism, Traumatic Events, and Relationship issues. My approach is warm and friendly as I strive to make each of our sessions a space where you can feel genuinely seen and heard.

Bio:
As a native of Ecuador, I am fluent in English and Spanish and am very culturally sensitive. My parent immigrated when I was 7 years old and settled in a suburb of Los Angeles. I met my husband in high school, married in 1994 after graduating from UC San Diego with a Masters in Psychology. We moved to Orange County, CA where I completed my training in Marital and Family therapy in 2002. I was then blessed with a child and became a stay at home mother for 10 years until my husband's job moved us to Arizona where I decided to return to continue my career as a counselor and psychotherapist.

I thoroughly enjoy reading, decorating and homemaking. I strive for work life balance and honoring God through a strong commitment to prayer in my daily life.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11am- 5pm.

My 25 years in the field of Mental Health includes working in private practices, social service agencies, and school settings serving children and adults with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, neurodevelopmental challenges, and trauma.

I have also taught undergraduate courses in the Psychology Department at Benedictine University in Mesa, AZ.
