I provide a holistic, evidenced-based approach that focuses on building strengths, improving self-awareness, and nurturing relationships. Bio:
Brendan Laracy discovered a calling to become a therapist later in life. He grew up in a Catholic family and received an athletic scholarship to swim at Rutgers University. Brendan competed in the Olympic Trials and was a world-ranked swimmer. Brendan earned a BA in Economics and began a career in business. After a few years, Brendan began to discern a calling to Religious life and became a Franciscan Friar. It was with the Franciscans that Brendan began his masters program in Professional Counseling and was led to leave religious life and then completed his Master's degree. He has been working for many years as a Licensed Professional Counselor in a variety of different settings serving adolescents, adults, and family's with mental health and substance use challenges. He started his own private practice over 5 years ago. Brendan uses his diverse experiences and spiritual formation within the therapeutic context.

Brendan is now wonderfully married and the father of a son. He has a deep love for nature and enjoys hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and spending time with his family.
