Hello there! I'm Buncencia Burneko - I go by my middle name, Kristine. I specialize in Integrative Psychiatry, which emphasizes the use of complementary and naturopathic approaches as well as traditional psychiatric medication if needed to improve mental health. Instead of simply treating symptoms, I analyze all domains that can affect a person’s mental health including sleep, diet, physical activity, spirituality, nutritional deficiencies, underlying medical conditions, and more. I am very well versed in complementary and alternative approaches to healing. I treat my patients with herbal or plant-based medicines, minerals, amino acids, vitamins and/or with traditional medication as needed.
I recognize that our bodies, minds, and souls are intricately intertwined and that all three must be addressed for true healing to take place. As such, I provide medicine for the body, supportive therapy for the mind, and incorporate Catholic spirituality into treatment as the patient desires. I am very passionate about educating my patients and finding the perfect, unique mix of therapies that bring maximum relief from suffering.
