Message from Therapist

I work with clients throughout Arizona via a telehealth platform. Providing counseling for individual clients experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, anger management as well as for the trials of navigating life's transitions from childhood into adolescence and from adolescence into adulthood.

As a therapist also trained in Catholic Theology and Philosophy, I bring to therapy a familiarity with the spiritual life and Catholic culture. I also have experience working with men and women discerning a religious vocation or transitioning out of religious life.

Bio:
Daniel Johnson brings to his practice of therapy several years of work as a therapist at the Catholic High Schools in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles through Counseling Partners of Los Angeles . At these schools, Daniel has worked with many adolescents on a variety of issues, including those experiencing depression, suicidal ideation, self harm, and anxiety.

Before taking up his therapy practice, Daniel was a high school teacher for five years. He particularly enjoyed teaching Modern History and Sacred Scripture. Additionally, he spent six years in formation at St Michael’s Abbey in Orange County, CA. It was there where he studied Thomistic Philosophy and Theology, as well as the rich spiritual tradition of the Catholic Church. Consequently he brings to therapy a familiarity with the spiritual life and Catholic culture.

Monday: Friday 8 am - 12 pm, 2 - 7 pm
Saturday: 7 am - 2 pm
