"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing" - Helen Keller

My goal is to help you flourish in this life! While I work with adult individuals, teenagers, couples, and families of any or no faith, my underlying understanding of human health and happiness is based on the teachings of the Church.

I provide marriage and family counseling, plus have experience working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, and grief, as well as more serious mental health issues such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

As  a retired member of the Air Force, the son of a retired member of the Army, and the parent of a former Marine, I have understanding of the unique stressors that military members and their families experience.

I also specialize in working with trauma and substance use issues, particularly with adult and adolescent men.

If you are looking for help in moving forward, give me a call at: 719-270-0899

Our objective is to find your own internal strength and to acquire a fresh, new direction to help you obtain what you want in life.

Practice Info

Bio:
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor in private practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

I am a retired member of the Air Force, the son of a retired member of the Army, and the parent of a former Marine, so I understand the unique stressors that military members and their families experience.

During my graduate work, I developed an approach to therapy which uses contemplative meditation (after St John of the Cross), acceptance, and values to help individuals come to terms with difficulties and move forward.

I am a member of the Colorado Springs community of the Secular Discalced Carmelite Order and its past president.
I am also a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a Prior Faithful Navigator.
