My Mission is the integration of Catholic teaching into the therapeutic process. I work with individuals, couples and families to spread the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to those who are struggling through emotional, psychological and spiritual issues.

Bio:
Deacon Basil Ryan Balke is a Deacon with the Ruthenian Byzantine Catholic Church (one of the 22 Eastern Churches which make up the Universal Catholic Church). He is a native of Colorado, and has lived in Denver for most of his life.

Deacon Basil Ryan holds a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Regis University, the St. Stephen’s Diploma in Eastern Theology, a Bachelors in Psychology and numerous certifications in Roman and Eastern Theology and Ministry.

Deacon Basil Ryan also has advanced training in Marriage and Family Therapy, and has works with couples and families. Before becoming a Therapist, Deacon was in professional Youth Ministry for eleven years where he worked with thousands of young people in growing closer to God through his Church.

Deacon Basil Ryan is married to his lovely wife, Brittany, and they have several children. He is the Director of "Mount Tabor Counseling" and the practice provides therapy to the Denver/Arvada/Longmont areas and by Teletherapy to all of Colorado, Texas and Wyoming from a Catholic perspective.

He has a passion for working with individuals, couples and families and groups seeking to integrate the Catholic spiritual life with the therapeutic process to achieve healing of mind, body, and soul.
