My approach to psychotherapy is a combination of insight-oriented, psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I find this to be highly effective in transforming self awareness into change. With my Catholic clients, I also utilize Church teachings, principles and faith practices and apply them to therapeutic techinques to bring about a more complete integration of body, mind and soul.

Although I was raised a Catholic, my true conversion started about 15 years ago after facing devastating personal trauma and adversity. My gradual transformation as a Catholic has rooted my clinical work in the application of both biblical truth and evidence based psychological practices, and a deep desire to share the healing power of God's Word, mercy, hope and love.
I currently have a private practice in Laguna Hills, California, as well as a grief ministry a local Catholic Church where I offer group and individual counseling services to parishioners in need.
