Every person is a child of God, loved by God, and necessary as a unique image of God. Life has a way of throwing challenges at us that make it easy to get stuck and lose sight of who we really are. As a Clinician, I enjoy helping others wade through these life challenges and to see them as opportunities to become better people and more fully children of God.
Pornography addiction is the hidden pandemic of our culture. It harms everyone, weakens one spiritually, makes sacrificial love almost impossible, and seriously challenges relationships. Recovery and healing is possible! The area of treating pornography addiction is an important specialty of mine.
I work with motivated pre-teens on through adults on a range of challenges, including - depression, trauma, complex trauma from abuse/neglect, addictions (especially pornography and sex addiction), relationships, and spirituality.
As a Catholic Therapist, I see our Catholic Faith as one of our greatest strengths. Before my clinical studies, I studied Theology and obtained a BA in Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville and a MA in Theology from Catholic Distance University. My theological experience has taught me the dignity of the human person, how broken we can become, and how the Love and Grace of God can heal and transform us!
