I have been working as a psychologist in both Kentucky and Texas since earning my doctorate in 1988. As a Catholic psychologist, I am dedicated to a holistic view of the person, based on an integration of the bio-psychosocial and spiritual bases of our experiences. That is, I believe that every person’s psychological being is intricately bound up within the biological, social and spiritual aspects of his or her life. From that point of view, I work with my clients from whatever point they may find themselves on their life journey.

I would best describe my therapeutic approach as integrative, basing particular therapeutic methods (psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, existential) on the particular needs of each individual. I have a firm belief in the healing capacity of each and every soul, and hope to strengthen and develop this capacity in every person with whom I work. Such strength may be developed in many ways and forms: including but not limited to learning new coping strategies, overcoming old wounds and toxic patterns, facing new challenges, deepening one’s faith in the face of tragedy. Whatever difficulties or issues you may be facing at this time, please know that you never have to face them alone.
For video conferencing - I use HIPAA-compliant software that is easily accessible and no cost to the client. This is one of the few programs that ensure client privacy and security, and entails no additional cost to the client.
