Message from Therapist

Healthy relationships are the key to a joyful life, and this is the focus of my clinical work. I specialize in helping individuals, couples and families to heal and create strong supportive relationships.

I have extensive experience both in providing therapy and other areas of life experiences that allow me to work successfully with a wide variety of couples, families, and individuals in the current difficulties they are experiencing. Some issues include difficulties in your marriage or relationships, struggling with depression, anxiety, addictions or ADD/ADHD.

I know that the most fundamental reason for coming to counseling is to create change, and so my style is very practical and results-oriented. Conducting therapy through the lens of the Catholic faith helps families leverage both the science of psychology and the wisdom of the Church to become happier, healthier, and holier.

Bio:
I am blessed to be married to my wife Megan and we have three beautiful children, Agnes, William and Augustine (Gus). We live in a small town in Eastern Colorado.

I grew up on the family farm in Eastern CO. I attended the University of Northern Colorado for 2 years and finished my Bachelor’s Degree at Metropolitan State College of Denver. I then worked as a missionary for NET Ministries in Minnesota for a total of three years. I have held several positions including as a Youth Minister, Teacher, and Coach. I later worked with people with developmental disabilities before and while attending grad school. While working as a therapist in Minnesota, I have offered in-home individual and family therapy to adolescents and their families in the Twin cities. I worked as a general therapist in a rural community mental heath center where I was able to hone my skills in a number of different areas including working more with couples and individuals with addictions. I then moved back to Colorado and worked in a Catholic clinic providing therapy to Couples, Individuals, and Families.

In 2023, I started my own private practice, Cure Marriage and Family Mental Health Services, working with Adults, Adolescents, Couples, and Families.
