I'm so glad you have found my page and I would love to work with you. My goal as a mental health counselor is to help you identify strengths to cope with challenges, resolve core issues holding you back from living a happy and meaningful life, and implement a positive mindset that you can carry beyond counseling. I especially love to work with children, teenagers, and young adults - these periods of life can often be the most challenging, and I want to help you get through them, whether you suffer with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or just general stress.
I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness techniques. These evidence-based approaches will help you to change your mindset from one that is unhelpful or negative to one that is positive, encouraging, and fulfilling.
Taking the first step towards beginning therapy can be a challenge. You have already taken that first step by visiting this page, and I hope you continue to work towards changing your life for the better!

What does "Pax" mean?
“Pax” has Latin roots (particularly in religious tradition), meaning “peace,” which we believe is a pivotal indicator of human flourishing. We view the concept as a state of being rather than simply a transient emotional experience.
Since psychotherapy is such an intrinsically personal process, we find it beneficial to disclose our own philosophy prior to initiating therapy. After all, we all have one! Our therapists have been trained in, and embrace, the “Catholic-Christian Meta-Model of the Person” as a means of making sense of our purpose and nature as human beings. In short, the meta-model informs the conceptualization of our clients and everyone else in this world.
Our goal is, by the grace of God, to bring peace to those who seek it.
