As a Catholic counselor, I am grounded in the belief that every person is created in the image of God and called by Love to live in this Truth. This belief is the lens from which I see you: an unrepeatable soul with inherent dignity, called to walk out a specific purpose. My faith is what grounds me and guides me, so I will never advise anything that contradicts Church teaching. And, you choose whether or not we integrate faith into treatment--it is never imposed! I love and work with clients of all different faith backgrounds.
As your counselor, I will work to create a space for you to feel welcomed, protected and cared for. You will find the freedom to bring your truest self: all of your joys, shame and pain. Here we will walk together-at your pace-towards a deeper understanding of yourself in order to build an authentic life. I have found my passion in working with teens and adults who find themselves in painful places, whether from traumatic experiences or from the inner voices of shame, and working together towards healing and peace.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California. I received my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I am a Certified EMDR Clinician through EMDRIA, AEDP Level 2. I provide services in English and Spanish.
