I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about integrating psychology and Catholic-Christian anthropology in order to restore hope and healing to suffering individuals.  I use a combination of attachment-based, emotionally-focused, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and interpersonal techniques in order to meet the particular needs of each client.

Monday-Friday 8:30am-2:15pm & 3:45-5:45pm. Thursdays & Fridays 4-8pm. Some Saturdays 9am-3pm.

As an out-of-network clinician, I provide monthly superbills for completed therapy sessions. Contact your insurance to see if you qualify for reimbursement of payments to me.

Marie Alemán received her M.S. in clinical psychology in 2010.  She has gained much experience with counseling a variety of individuals, within her training and work at four different Christian community outpatient settings around the Washington, DC metro area.  Marie's therapy is informed by her Christian faith, her educational training, and her personal experience as a wife and mother.  Marie works to heal clients through individual, parent-child, family, or couple counseling formats.
