Message from Therapist

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I hope you find the person you need at this time.

I am a Clinical Psychologist at Ruah Woods Psychological Services (RWPS), and have extensive experience working with Adolescent and Adult individuals, as well as with Couples on marital/family issues. I am trained on a wide variety of issues, but specialize with those struggling with depression, loss/grief, trauma, sex addiction, and vocational/existential issues. I also provide psychological testing, including vocational assessment for candidates to the priesthood or religious life.

I view psychotherapy as an opportunity. It can be the chance that one never had to understand, shape, and heal one's psychology. By God's permissive will, life provides us with trying and sometimes overwhelming circumstances. My hope is to meet you where you are and to cooperate with God in your healing.

I strive to see my patients as original thoughts from the mind of God - as exciting and irreplaceable. We each have a vocation to love God and to love one another. However, so much can happen to complicate our ability to simply live life! My hope is to meet you where you are and help you find peace in God’s purpose for you.

Please visit www.RWpsych.org to learn more about me and the ministry at Ruah Woods Psychological Services. Feel free to give us a call at 513-407-8878. I know many who come to RWPS are looking for change and healing with a faith-filled therapist they can trust, and I am honored to take up that calling.

May God bless you,

Dr. Michael Murphy, Psy.D.
