Hello and welcome! As a licensed professional counselor in Illinois and Colorado, I have many online virtual telehealth clients and we use the Simple Practice format for HIPAA compliant video conferencing. I provide in-person visits to see my clients in Parker, CO and also available by phone.
I bring a rich background in working with individuals and families in crisis as a critical care nurse. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents. I also work with adult individuals who want to address their depression, anxiety, grief, and self-esteem, and with couples and families to strengthen marriages and in developing healthy family environments.
Please give me a call and let me introduce myself. There is more information on my website: goodcounseltherapy.com.
Blessings!
Life is full of transitions and often presents with challenges that require us to adapt and change. I can help by creating a safe environment that promotes healing and growth through the changes of life. I do this by being attentive, supportive, challenging and compassionate while embracing the losses and struggles that our lives bring. The short term goal of therapy is symptom reduction, while the long-term goal is transformation.
I work with those who are interested in strengthening their relationships or working to move past their hurts and traumas into a healthier way of living. I like to help my clients understand what self-care is and learn the imperative to care for the self - so they can then fully care for others.
As a Pastoral Counselor, I am able to include a client’s unique spirituality in a plan for psychological wholeness and healing while creating a warm and supportive environment.
