Are you an adult who is interested in healing the root of your issues? Do you feel like coping skills aren’t enough? Do you feel enslaved to unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors? Are your struggles affecting others in your life and your pursuit of sainthood? You are not alone. Many Catholic faithful feel stuck in their struggles. However, you don’t have to remain captive. You can break free.

God desires our inner healing and freedom. Because He is so good, He created us with the ability to heal. I have guided many Catholics to transformation by helping them access the healing power of God within them. Your healing isn’t just for you. It is also a gift to those around you. Life can be so much better for everyone.

Do not wait. Free yourself from unnecessary psychological shackles, and live the life you know God wants you to live. Don’t settle with surviving. Thrive. Be a saint. Visit my website and fill out the contact form located on the contact page. I hope to hear from you soon!

Bio:
After completing my bachelors, I encountered the Lord in prayer in a deeper way and began to take my Catholic faith more seriously, which influenced my career choices. I decided to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology since my desire to bring healing to others through God’s Grace was undeniable.

Since God is the true healer, my practice of psychotherapy and my faith are inseparable to me. I faithfully follow the magisterium of the Catholic Church and maintain a daily prayer life. I have a devotion to the Rosary and the Brown Scapular, and I am influenced by Carmelite and Ignatian spirituality.

I am a member of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association.

I also like to attend retreats, play soccer, run, hike, travel and visit national parks. Quality time with my Catholic community is invaluable to my life. Saint Mother Teresa said, “we belong to each other.” By experience, I’ve learned that we truly need each other.

More About Omar Bravo, PsyD

I created Inner Freedom Psychotherapy (IFP) with the intent of bringing psychological healing to Catholic adults through the transformative power of God utilizing Interior Family Systems (IFS) psychotherapy. I strive to advance the Kingdom of God by supporting the faithful along the journey toward salvation for themselves and those around them.

I strongly believe that God is good and desires our healing. I hope to help Catholics experience their own goodness and therefore believe in God's goodness in a deeper way. Openness to the goodness of God and that He created all people good can open the floodgates of healing and transformation. I believe true healing comes from transformative experiences and encounters with the Divine, both of which I seek to foster during psychotherapy sessions.
