If you are reading this, it is likely that you or a loved one is experiencing some type of significant psychological distress.  Perhaps the symptoms have developed recently, or perhaps they have been present for some time.  Regardless, please know that meaningful help is available and that reaching out for such help is a courageous act of hope!  

It is also likely that you are specifically seeking the help of a well-qualified Catholic therapist who will effectively integrate faith-based perspectives with evidence-based therapeutic approaches to facilitate authentic understanding, healing, wholeness, and flourishing.  This is my vision and goal for my work as a Catholic therapist, and my deeply held Catholic faith, educational background, professional training, and work experiences have prepared me well to serve you in this role.  It would be my privilege to accompany and assist you in your journey towards mental health wellness.

Bio:
Theresa Doub is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Maryland. Her life and work experiences have been broad and rich which, in turn, have allowed her to develop the understanding, insight, and wisdom needed to establish and maintain meaningful connection with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and perspectives.

Theresa deeply respects the dignity, worth, and uniqueness of every person and is confident in their capacity for positive change aimed towards flourishing. Her clinical approach is person-centered, strengths-based, holistic, and integrative; she utilizes a range of evidence-based treatment modalities to accommodate the needs of her clients and promote authentic hope, healing, and wellness.

Theresa holds an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University, an M.A. in Theology from the Ecumenical Institute of Theology, and a B.S. in Business Administration from Towson University. She is a certified facilitator for the Prepare/Enrich Couples Counseling Program and a Level 4 Clinical Traumatologist through Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. Theresa offers both in-person and telehealth counseling services.
