Message from Therapist

My goal is to provide a safe place for my clients to comfortably share their issues and difficulties and work toward integrating sound Christian beliefs and values with effective therapeutic tools to help them find healing and make the changes needed to improve their lives. I work with such issues as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, loneliness, grief and loss, self-esteem challenges, parent/child issues, marriage issues, and relationship concerns with self or others.

My approach is strength-based, heart-based, and client centered.  Working collaboratively with my clients, I honor the uniqueness of each individual and family, walking alongside them towards healing and wellness, supporting their life goals and dreams, and a closer relationship to God. Within the teachings and values of the Catholic Church and Jesus Christ, and using the principles of Psychodynamic theory, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Gestalt Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, Positive Discipline and Triple P Parenting, I support each person in the integration of body, mind, heart, and soul.  With couples, I promote the Sacrament of Marriage and draw from the work and techniques of my studies in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, while teaching positive and effective communication skills.
