I  am a Catholic, Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, licensed to practice in the state of Florida.  I am licensed to prescribe medication and provide time-limited therapy.

I take a holistic and individualized approach to every client. This approach stems from the understanding that mental health can affect multiple areas of one's life.  I treat each of my Catholic clients with individualized care, Catholic principles/teachings, and evidence-based interventions.

I work with clients of all ages from the privacy of my office and also via video conferencing.

I specialize in the treatment of various mood, anxiety, and thought disorders. I utilize medication in conjunction with therapy to improve patient outcomes. I am also willing to collaborate with your therapist to improve your overall mental health. I look forward to the possibility of working with you.

Bio:
Dr Kevin Joseph is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. He is licensed to practice in the state of Florida in Psychiatric Mental Health and to prescribe medication.

I am an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital and health care industry. I have extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, with various age groups. I work with individuals assessing mental health needs, diagnosing mental illness and prescribing appropriate medication when needed and also trained to provide clients with time-limited psychotherapy.

The decision to further my education to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner stemmed from my experiences as a psychiatric registered nurse. The ability to assist in the therapeutic process in which a client transitions from crisis to normalcy is an experience that is truly gratifying. This sense of gratification and fulfillment drove me to further my education and play a more active and substantial role in the therapeutic process.
